[N/A] Whats the easiest HR role youve had vs. the most complex?

And why?

I thought ER was my easiest role at first because I was mostly just investigating all day, every day, and not much more than that but I might have gotten lucky with that setup. I didn’t like management or generalist work at all because it felt like too much of everything happening at once. I also never want to be responsible for managing other employees again. Recruiting was high stress for me because it felt so much like being in sales again… having to scurry for talent and not knowing for sure if they’d truly be successful for the role or not long term.

I have a friend in L&D who says it’s a breeze. Fully remote, no set schedule, no talking to people, just project based deadlines to meet and that’s it. Sounds amazing. I personally have actually enjoyed training others in the roles I have had but I do not really know anything else about L&D but her experience has me thinking….

Anyway, what have your experiences been?
