I'm currently studying HR and I recently told a person about how I'm looking for HR jobs and he made a passing joke about the profession, (similar to the kind of stuff you see on reddit) and it really got to me.
I found it frustrating that this person and especially a man who doesn't know anything about the profession still feels like they can speak on it??
Is this a common thing to experience in real life? And does it ever affect you?
How do you deal with it?
