[CA] We had hired a remote an employee. Aside from legalities, how does HR Management deal with a situation where the employee has a child that's crying/screaming almost every time they pick up the phone. The challenge is that this is a position where they're meant to be taking client and vendor calls, and it feels somewhat unprofessional/distracting. I've never encountered this. I'm generally very empathetic to situations. Clearly if they were in an office they wouldn't have their child on their lap. Just looking for HR insight here.
